For Cory Treharn, transformation starts with courageously taking a leap and trusting yourself to adapt along the way.
Embracing this ambitious, improvement-focused mindset, Cory spent seven years at Siegfried – jumping into new challenges and developing as an individual leader in an entrepreneurial, relationship-based environment. He then transitioned into a high-impact role as the Director of Corporate Accounting at TransImpact, a rapidly growing technology company that helps organizations optimize their supply chains and margins. In this role, Cory oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, and treasury – applying the leadership lessons that he learned at Siegfried every day.
“At Siegfried, I learned to be more forward thinking and strategic in how I lead myself and those around me. That mindset shaped the way I lead today – with intention, empathy, and clarity.” Cory shared.
Growth that makes a long-term impact
During his tenure at Siegfried, Cory learned to thrive in new and unfamiliar environments, strengthen his communication skills, and lead through change with confidence – both inside and outside the office. He credits his time at the Firm with giving him a deep understanding of both professional growth and personal purpose.
“My decision to enter Siegfried’s Director Xcelerator program in 2019 was a big pivot for me,” Cory recalled. “I’m not naturally a risk-taker, but Siegfried gave me the courage and skills to take that next step – and it changed everything, influencing how I approach change to this day.”
Now, based in Cleveland, Cory balances a fulfilling and transformative career in leadership with his passion for family as a husband and father of two. He continues to live by Siegfried’s philosophy of work-life synergy – bringing his best self in all areas, no matter what life throws his way.
Planting the roots for success
For Cory, success is no longer measured by superficial milestones or benchmarks – it’s about growth and impact. “The further I go into my career, the more I realize that success is less about your title and more about the positive impact you can make on yourself and others through a transformative mindset,” he said.
Cory’s journey – both within Siegfried and beyond – is a reminder that transformation is a lifelong journey, and that the lessons learned at Siegfried reach far beyond any one chapter.
