What's in your quarantine Amazon cart?

Amazon is always a good idea. It’s an especially good idea when we’re really not interested in leaving the house during social distancing. Yes, we’re allowed to go to Target, but do we really want to? For once in our lives, no, we don’t want to go to Target. (I know, it’s tough for me, too.)

Although Amazon is convenient, I’m trying to very conscious of what and when I order my wants and needs. I don’t want to send an Amazon delivery person to my house for just one item. Times are too crazy for that right now! I’ve been working on this list for about a week now and I think I’m about ready to place the order.

Want to see what’s on the list?

Produce wash: I’m still between buying this or distilled white vinegar and making my own produce wash. If there was ever a time to wash your produce, it’s now. The days where my less- of-a-clean-freak-than-me husband (annoyingly) takes the raspberry container out of the fridge and munches away without washing them are over (for now and hopefully forever).

Semolina flour: With all this extra time on my hands, I’ve been cooking. A lot. And one of my favorite things to make has been homemade pasta! This flour helps keep the noodles from sticking together before cooking them. I’ve linked the dough recipe I’ve been using and here’s my favorite way to prepare the pasta.

Coloring book: Yes, there’s a word blurred out in this coloring book name. Luckily, I already have crayons from last time my nephew came over. Here’s hoping this new book will help me fill my time with a little more creativity than Netflix does.

Dog wipes: I live in the city and my dog sleeps in my bed. Enough said. Her paws get wiped whenever she comes in the door!

Hangers: Like every other person in the country right now, I’ve been filling my time by organizing our closets and drawers. But I’m lacking hangers and need to fix that ASAP!
